VPS is excited to announce that Fremman Capital has entered into exclusive discussions with its existing investor, IK Investment Partners, to acquire its stake in VPS.

VPS is the world’s leading marine fuel testing and advisory company, providing services to the marine, power and renewables sectors. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Rotterdam, NL, today VPS employs 270+ highly trained employees working across a global network of laboratories and offices.

VPS protects customers assets through bespoke testing services and enables customers to optimise their operational performance. This reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, improving environmental sustainability.

Over the past few years VPS has strengthened its leadership position as a true innovator in sustainability. This has been achieved by launching additional, valuable services, such as Oil Condition Monitoring, and through three strategic acquisitions to further diversify its services and strengthen its decarbonisation advisory offering.
