We test cloud point of distillate fuels by the international test method, ISO3015.

Where distillate fuels are stored and transferred in cold climates, can lead to wax precipitation, which can further lead to operational problems such as, blocked filters and pipework, causing expensive down-time and repairs.

In addition, waxing can increase risk to operational staff and potential environmental damage.  

Monitoring Cloud Point, can help avoid waxing and reduce the risk of unexpected maintenance.

Knowledge of CP will assist in effective storage of fuel in relation to tank temps.  

Based upon the result of the test, the CP allows energy saving via distillate heating only at temperatures required.
