We have key in-house experience of the international test method, IP541/06 for the quantitative determination of ignition and combustion characteristics of fuels for use in compression ignition engines.

Comprehensive information regarding the combustion properties of a fuel can be identified from this test method. This information is ideal when developing a new fuel product and also when looking to use a new fuel for the first time.

The test provides information on approximately 10 key fuel combustion properties including: Estimated Cetane, Number, Ignition Delay, Combustion Delay, Combustion Period, After-burn Period and Max Rate of Heat Release.

This test allows peace of mind when purchasing a new fuel as well as Proactive risk-reduction when switching fuels.
